Bo Schembechler Speech
Audio clip of Bo Schembechler – awesome.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you
right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.
If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

For the kind soul that visited my blog today and found nothing, my bad.
I attempted to upgrade the blog to a beta version of WordPress but could not get it working correctly.
Admin functionality, individual posts and sub-pages would all load, but the index page refused to load.
I have rolled back to 2.2.whateveristhecurrentstablerelease of WordPress and will now test out the Beta on my local machine and go from there.
Dude, I didn’t know you had a blog! You are now a part of my illustrious blogroll as well
I’m definitely not an audiophile but I need to gush about this audio plug-in I’ve been using with iTunes.
I’ve got small desktop speakers on my computer (PC running Win XP) at home and I’m listening on headphones on my computer, a PowerBook, at work; nothing fancy and not rocking the house.
I will muck with the equalizer on iTunes from time to time, tweaking the levels for songs that I have ripped from CDs; more bass, cut the tinny sounds for my old ears, etc.
I purchased the latest promo package of software from MacUpdate and one of the included items is SRS iWOW, a plug-in for iTunes.
SRS iWOW is basically an equalizer on ‘roids for iTunes. It rocks!
The sound coming from my desktop speakers is fuller, broader…and the audio on my headphones just feels better. I’m not doing a good job of describing sound, but if you want to experience better audio on your computer (SRS has versions for both Windows and OS X), give their product a try. It’s only $19.95 to purchase; well worth it.
The saying “Getting there is half the fun” became obsolete with the advent of commercial airlines.

My wife and I caught The Police in concert at the Palace last night.
Rock!
This is the one band that I had always wanted to see live. I didn’t catch them when I was in high school and when this reunion tour was announced, I was all over getting tickets.
Here’s the playlist from the show:
Message in a Bottle
Synchronicity 2
Walking on the Moon
Voices Inside My Head
When the World Is Running Down
Don’t Stand So Close To Me
Driven To Tears
Truth Hits Everybody
Bed’s Too Big Without You
Every Little Thing She Does is Magic
Wrapped Around Your Finger
De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da
Invisible Sun
Walking in Your Footsteps
Can’t Stand Losing You
Roxanne
(Encores)
King Of Pain
So Lonely
Every Breath You Take
Next To You
If you’re a fan of the band, check out the show!
You suck.
I am jealous.
I got 12th row for January when they come to Australia. I hate waiting!! The set list looks great. I’ve only seen them once before when I was fifteen and I was about 5000 people away from the stage, and it was still awesome, so I’m pretty excited about being so close this time. \^_^/
Yeah but guess who is going to see Van Halen.
The rockers with walkers tour!
Our oldest daughter now has earrings.
Good golly.
My wife, the mother-in-law, our daughters and a friend went to what can only be described as a “girls-only” store at the mall; it’s a place where girls can get their hair and make-up done, pretend to be rock stars and they also do ear piercing.
My wife said the young ladies working at the store were awesome and did a great job of helping our daughter pick out a starter set and showing her how to properly care for those new holes in her head.
To avoid possible “oh no, you’re not putting a hole in the other ear” if the first one hurts, both ears were pierced simultaneously. Makes sense to me.
Our oldest came back very excited and proud.
“Dad, it didn’t hurt at all!”
I’m most freaked out because this is a sign that she’s starting to grow into a young lady, caring more about her appearance and all things girl.
Thankfully, boys still have cooties and she can kick most of their backsides on the soccer field.
For the single reader out there who saw a generic, parked page for the site, my bad.
I biffed on the renewal for my domain and godaddy parked the sucker for a few hours today.
I just ponied up my $8.25 to renew the domain.
You and I can continue our conversation now.
cheers,
Chris
