Holy cow - even I don’t normally suck this much as updating…but to call these posts updates is a crime against the word update.
So what drove me to write this?
I upgraded my WordPress install to version 2.3.2.
Thrilling, huh?
I’m finding Twitter an easy/quicker way to update my “drivel.”
I need to find a plug-in for WP that automagically pulls data from my Twitter feed. One must exist.
Since my last post:
Survived Thanksgiving, Michigan actually won a football game (in your ear Urban Meyer!), enjoyed the Christmas holiday and seeing our families and we’re all digging the start of 2008.
Don, thanks for becoming my second reader…
cheers,
Chris
Again, for you, my single reader, thanks for sticking around and coming back. I had to move the site to a new host (along with moving about 35 other domains) and the site was unavailable, displaying the “hey, new site, nothing to see yet” generic screen that is so common on hosting accounts.
Anyway, I’m back.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you
right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.
For the single reader out there who saw a generic, parked page for the site, my bad.
I biffed on the renewal for my domain and godaddy parked the sucker for a few hours today.
I just ponied up my $8.25 to renew the domain.
You and I can continue our conversation now.
cheers,
Chris
Hook up Jason Bonderman with the final American League All-Star roster spot!!
Vote now, and then vote some more…stuff that ballot box!!!
It’s Fathers Day.
You know what that means?
I own the remote control for the day!
My daughters, coolest kids on the planet, will have to survive for the day, as they “suffer” through Formula One racing, a taped episode or two off of the Discovery Channel and probably a few minutes of The Weather Channel.
Rah!
To the family members, friends and relatives of someone who has passed away while fighting for our country, may today, Memorial Day, be a day full of fond memories of those who have died in service to the United States.
thanks,
Chris

It’s Good Friday today.
My office is closed, so I’m home hanging out with the kids.
Our youngest (7 next month) just took a bath and is now getting herself ready. As parents, having your kids able to get themselves dressed, ready after bath, ready for bed, etc. is BLISS.
I remark to our youngest that I am proud of her for her being able to get herself ready. I told her how different it now is, from when she was a baby and mom and dad would bathe her and get her ready.
Her reply?
“I was a baby then, I’m six now…”
Of course.
