Upgraded to WordPress 2.1
For anybody stumbling across my blog, I just upgraded to WordPress 2.1.
As has always been the case with upgrading WordPress, the process, once I quit being dense, was very simple.
I will have this default theme replaced later this evening, but for now I’m just testing things to make sure nothing evil has happened.

Seeking invite to The Venice Project
Anybody out there familiar with The Venice Project?
The folks behind Skype and Kazaa are now focusing their efforts on streaming television.
The project is in alpha stage, but apparently early adopters will start receiving invites to allow others to join.
If anybody has an invite to share, pick me, pick me! There was something about groveling for an invite on the project web site, so here’s my grovel.

Welcome to 2007
Like a lot of bloggers, I *mean* to post more often than I do.
A friend from college and overall smart guy, Dave Jansen, has finally started blogging. Dave’s one of those “freaky bright” people who makes me wonder where I got screwed over in the brain DNA pool.

I was going through my blogroll after adding Dave and noticed that Jeff Yonker, whom I attended Ferndale High School with, has updated his blog. Give him a visit at Chonks World.
Anyway, I’m hoping to write more and share more with you in 2007.

Roach Clip needed on Aisle 4
Consumerist has a great post about a KMart in Philaldephia receiving a box filled with 25 lbs of pot.
Apparently the box was mis-shipped to KMart instead of a residence in the area.
Must have sucked to be the intended recipients, when they found not UPS but local police at their door, completing the delivery and subsequent arrests.
